Abbey Road Studios
created in November of 1931 by EMI in London, England is best known as the legendary recording studio used by the rock artists: The Beatles, Cliff Richard, Pink Floyd and The Shadows. The studios are located in Abbey Road, in St John's Wood in the City of Westminster.

Camden Town
Camden is well-known for its markets: these are of relatively recent date, except for Inverness Street Market, a small food market good for fruit and vegetables serving the local community, though now with more touristy stalls on weekends. Camden Lock Market proper started in a former timber yard in 1973, and is now surrounded by satellites: Buck Street Market, Stables Market, Camden Canal Market, and an indoor market in the Electric Ballroom.  |

really is a great place to go in London, with children, or even just adults! In fact adults will probably enjoy it more than the children, as they will know who all the people are - although most of the children I saw there were just fascinated by the fact that the people were made of wax - they look so life like!  |

HMS Belfast
This majestic ship is Europe's only surviving WWII cruiser, moored on the River Thames as a floating museum with displays about her history and the Navy. HMS Belfast led the naval bombardment off Normandy in support of the Allied landings of D-Day in June 1944 and last fired her guns during the Korean War.

Wembley Stadium
is a football (soccer) stadium in Wembley. With 90,000 seats the stadium has the second largest capacity in Europe (after the Nou Camp). By area it is the largest roof-covered football stadium in the world,[citation needed] and stands opposite Wembley Arena. Following its opening, it has often been referred to as the "new Wembley Stadium" to distinguish it from the original stadium.

Cleopatra's Needle
First erected in Egypt, by Pharaoh Thotmes III around 1500BC, Cleopatra's Needle was given as a gift to the British people in 1819, in recognition of Admiral Nelson's victory over the French fleet, at the Battle of the Nile in 1798.Opposite the Victoria Embankment Gardens, on the river front, Cleopatra's Needle is flanked by magnificent bronze lions.
